I handcraft rings and other jewelry by using coins from around the world. One day, I saw someone wearing a coin ring and wanted to make one for myself. Days of reseach and lots of tools later got me to the point I am at now. I was only planning on making one small project but it turned into a hobby / business.
COIN
Each ring starts with a hand-selected circulated coin, then the flat coin is skillfully crafted into a beautiful ring like the pictures above. Retaining the coin's individual characteristics both inside and out, it is then sized and polished to a high gloss or given a antique finish to highlight the features of the coin.
RINGS
These double-sided coin rings are totally unique. They attract buyers from every age group and gender. Only a small group of craftsmen are able to make them.The
thought of turning a flat coin into a beautiful ring without cutting and soldering is mid boggling. With such a wide variety of coins available the possibilities are endless.
Living in Japan, I do not have the luxury of going to a coin shop or bank to get American coins. If you are willing to send me some coins, I will be willing to discount / trade for a ring(s).
